The Inside Zone of Yang at the Individual Objective Quadrant of the 8th-Person Perspective
The Yang Master at the Seat of Interiority at The Throne of Witnessing at the Letter of Watching
wisdom: the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.
The starting impulse of the Violet Heart begins with Wailing, given a Wide berth, perhaps the birth pains that define motherhood. That which is Wise appears in a flash, but it disappears just as suddenly. The Throne of Witnessing delivers the Wisemen and Wisewomen into their station … but what have we just seen appear?
Wisdom. It is not Wit, which it requires as an inspirational spark. It is the fruition and resolution of Withness.
Withness is the essence of Wisdom, tuned to pure receptive Yin at the fifth and sixth marks of subtle energy. Withness receives all, but what is the end of Withness? Is it to be one with all, or to separate from all? Withness is the Yang to the Yung of The Witness; it is the light-as-a-wiffle, thin-as-a-wick, spacious precondiiton in which The Width and The Witness unfold. The Width of All-That-Is is pure extension: in other words, the Line. The Witness accompanies the Width as the tendency of all things towards Width-ness (like to Line-ness). The mind begins to stretch into its Width-ness when it practices meditation which gives it access to the Witness, the term often used to describe becoming a neutral observer of the mind.
Wisdom arrives as the unification of Width and Witness: expansive sympathetic understanding of a wide range of things combined with detached, impartial perspective for making fair and superior judgments. The Yang Master at the Seat of Interiority, it sees into seven dimensions of the unfolding of Spirit: body, functioning, direction, subtlety, cause, generativity, and knowledge. In Wisdom, these perspectives are enhanced by direct insight from an eighth: the Width and Witness in union.
